Denny was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1981. He grew up playing soccer, baseball, and basketball. He never thought he would be involved in an endurance sport like triathlons.
He began his triathlon career in 2008 as just a hobby, with no background in running, cycling, or swimming. Within two years, it soon became a passion and ranked one of the top ten triathletes in Las Vegas, Nevada in the sprint distance. The training the sport requires, pairs perfectly with Denny’s dedicated personality, determination, and hard working nature.
Denny is highly involved in physical fitness, working as a personal trainer for Real Results Fitness. In this field, he affects the lives of clients, transforming them to health conscious, physically fit people. Clients look up to him for inspiration as he sets a great example, balancing his work and heavy workout schedule.
For the future, Denny sees himself becoming a nationally ranked triathlete. Although he currently travels in southwest United States to compete, he plans on travelling throughout the entire US.
Traveling will enable him to compete against all the world’s top triathletes and further round out his athletic resume and get him one step closer to achieving his long term goals.
